The white dials were a feature on the very end of production, mostly on the diesel engine ( different rev counter )

All white dials are the 5 dial variety like your picture as far as I know

If you want a genuine complete cluster then you can find them online but prices vary.
Then it would need to be calibrated to your car if the mileage on the white cluster is higher than your car - if it's lower mileage then it doesn't matter.

Alternatively, there are replacement faces available online, however I don't know how hard these are to fit but I should imagine you would need to pop the needles off etc.

I fitted the white dials to my old 406 - they looked great during the day but rubbish at night time..

Quite expensive as I think I only paid around £30 for mine - I haven't found the thin replacement covers only, just the complete dials...

Why rubbish in the night?

Hard to explain, but the light that is cast on the black dials seems dull, so the numbers and the needles are clear to see.
On the white dials I found the background was reflected a bit so the numbers and needles didn't really stand out in comparison.
I did get used to it, but I found it disappointing at first.

Beginning to change my mind 🤔

The white dials are super on a night? Far superior to the black ones as there are better coloured leds inside as well.

Your night time problem would arise if you just change the dial faces as you suggested? You must at least change the hands as well as the faces? Standard ones on the black face are white and wouldn't show up well on the white faces which have red hands? Do it! :P

NinoB,

I have a set out of a 2.0hdi like the set Ginger posted a link to if your interested.

The two issues I can think of.
1. I have no idea of the millage stored on the clocks
2. Your first picture shows a petrol set (6.5k red line), the diesel red line is around 5.2k from memory.

Kind regards

DDD.
