Fitting D9 Rear seats to D8

Post by fuvureju »

I am looking at fitting leather seats from a d9 saloon to my D8 LX saloon
I have read up on the wiring issues
However can anyone confirm if the seats are otherwise interchangeable between the D9 and D8
I understand the front sits are (not withstanding the wiring issues)
But I think I have read somewhere that D9 rear seats need modification to go into a D8 saloon?

guidance would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Yes I believe the frames are different, but people have taken the cushions and covers off the D9 seats and fitted them onto the D8 frames. I'm not sure how easy this is!

The fronts will go straight in, the rears are a bit more complicated - I think this is the thread viewtopic.php?f=28&t=6377&p=63714&hilit ... wap#p63714
