Peugeot 406 Rear Lights - Black / Chrome

Post by Midknight1985 »

Hi Guys

Just a question, I have a red 2003 Peugeot 406 rapier and I was going to put new rear clusters lights on, but the pair I am looking at are for the 95 upwards.

http://www.nicedeals.co.uk/product_info ... s_id=12193

Would these fit my 406?

No offence but they're not very attractive are they! I always preferred just clear or smoked, not lexus style, but there isn't much choice for the 406.

It would be great if there was a lexus for the Estate .. poor Estate doesn't have ANY choice but to keep the originals ...

Having that dilemma at the moment, Not impressed. Wanted to tart her up. I wanted lexus lights originally but now just want something DIFFERENT. I will keep looking, if I can get hold of some spare lenses I will try to make them different...... lol

Yes,this rear lights are not so good,at least for me,frend had them on 206,bought it,install it,drove like that for a month and got tired ,put back old ones.
Perhaps putting some darkened rear lights would be better

I was bored with my standard ones so I did a half tint. I think they look really nice plus I haven't seen any other D9 406 with it done :)

Half tint looks good, pays homage to the older 405 i prefered the one smoked one red lens setup of the 405, the all red looks a bit like its off an american car

I took the light out, took the small bit of blue plastic that goes between the lights off then masked off the bottom section and then used the tint spray to darken the light. You can still see the indicator and reverse lights fine so was really pleased with it.

I actually got the idea from my old escort mk6. I used to do a half tint on them and thought id give it a whirl on the 406
