rear view mirror removal

Post by grasmere59 »

Does anyone know how to remove the rear view mirror in a D9? Mine has that auto dim mirror.I want to get at the auto light sensor to disconnect it to try and stop my comm2000 playing up with the auto lights,i talked to a pug specialist who said it might work as it would bring up a fault and stop the auto light function from working but i can't see how the hell you get the mirror off and the Haynes says "take to a Peugeot dealer as you might break the windscreen"

Don't worry guys i managed to get it off and disconnected the sensor but that didn't work i just ended up with a flashing dip beam light on the dash and the lights on all the time and still comm2000 trouble, back to the drawing board. :(

Have you tried a bsi reset? Either that or get the auto lights disabled by some kind soul with PP2000.

The pug specialist said that it can't be unconfigured on the bsi with pp2000 :(
