I think this was only asked a couple of weeks back

I remember for fitment, the mounting points just need changing, but then we come to the wiring which was your question

I contemplated buying the leather D9 door cards off HimBigChief along with the switches to fit to my D8
However on pm'ing him he said he never fully got the switches working correctly, so as i'm not the best when it comes to electrics, I decided not to bother

Good look if you do decide to go for it, and would be very interested in the results as I think the door cards let my car down a bit and would still like to do this

I fancied doing it, as you can't get D8 leather door cards, they just came with cloth
I also managed to damage a door card taking stuff down the tip, so would be nice to fit D9 Leather ones

It's just
Going to be fun getting them
All wired up I'm gonna have a look and see if I can't modify the fittings of switches so I can keep the d8 ones save messing with all the plugs

been there and done it. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE RESULTS WHEN YOU DIE CAR INTERIORS
i spent a fortune on small tins of proper car upholstery die. and it turned out very very crap. see my pics in my old d8 section. theres pics in there of the door cards i did.
the company i got the die from refunded all my money when i showed them the piccys i took.
no questions asked . i spent about 50 quid on the stuff.

DONT DO IT

Gary - I know you had horrendous trouble with the spray, but there is an alternative method for dying interior parts. Get a cheapie paddling pool from Argos, fill it with water & use the proper clothes dye stuff. I reckon you could get some pretty good results dropping some grey cloth doorcards in some of that.
