Blue Wood - SRi

Post by Bailes1992 »

Does anyone have a close up picture of this?

Also does anyone know if it is availible from the dealer still and at what price? Glovebox, drivers side, ash tray + 4 doors. (Doggy  )

Trying to find some nice blue wood vynil sort of thing as it seems a shame to paint the ash wood. Want to try find some way I can swap the wood over easily to suit my mood
Cheers, Bailes.

Hate carbon wrap.

Looks terrible, nothing like real carbon!

Thing is carbon is for weight saving, I don't see the point in adding sticky carbon :|

Boring
The trims on my old 406 were moonstone.
Wondering if I should get some spare trims from the scrappy to spray when I get bored.

I do like the ash wood. But the blue wood in the SRi looks 'interesting'.
Would love a good picture of it.

Unfortunately the SRi door cards with the blue wood went with the SE seats as I opted to stick with the black ash - the blue wood just wouldn't have looked right in a red car. I do still have the front blue wood trims though, as they got sent to me a few days after the buyer had already picked up the interior. It looks ok & I probably would have fitted it if my car was a different colour, but it really is so obviously fake (as opposed to the fake black ash & fake walnut which is at least plausible because those wood colours exist).

As it turns out, the guy who bought the interior from me listed the SRi door cards on Ebay a couple of weeks later, but there were no bids on them.

If I do end up getting some blue wood for the doors then, could I steal the blue wood front trims off you?
I just think, in a moonstone car the blue wood would add a little charecter.

Also could you post a picture up of it?

I'll see if I can get a decent close up picture of what its like over the weekend. You'll have trouble getting hold of the blue wood though. I'll see if the guy that bought the SE interior still has them kicking around. He only lives in Portsmouth.
