Window, tint film.

Anyone know how to get tint film off glass :?:

tbh its not tint film but simalar, its just clear film, heat reflective & keeps the glass in one peice if smashed,
ihad no problems putting this stuff on its neat and tidy but problem is getting this stuff off :|

anyideas?

ive asked someone, thats a profesional tinter,
he rekons it may have to be steamed off,

idont fancy scraping it off so il try the steam method,
just got aload of proper tint film (medium dark) so all this craps gotta come off to get the new stuff on, :(

try a stanley blade at the edge of the window 8)

already tried that mate,
once this stuffs on it stays on its not ordinary tint stuff its very thin film
you carnt tell its even there its that thin, iwished inever put it on the first place now, :lol:

8) get em tinted mate and put them in your new one,
iwill give you enough film to tint them and a aplication kit , iwill have loads left over :roll:

ive over orderd,
only doing rear and side windows, fronts are already 20% tinted standard so theyre dark enough

The best way to get it off is use a hair dryer to melt the glue on the back and use a razor blaze to scrape it off. Once its off use some glass cleaner to clean the glue off. :) hope that helps.

if glass cleaner doesnt get the glue off then go and get some UPVC white frame cleaner ... this stuff will remove anything 8)

ive got some of that stuff, well its not for windows but for patio deck chairs,
shouid be simalar, il give that ago,

just waiting for the garage to empty so ican get my car in, not working out in this its too cold :(
