rear window brake light removal-????

how does the rear window brake light cover come off. i have a semi paralysed hand & cant suss how the 2 little clip things in the round holes work,without breaking something. would rather ask than apply brute force. tried pushin the little things in but to no avail, but ive got a feeling thats how its meant too come off. 

I've not done it myself, but remembering an old post as you say you have to poke something into the holes to release the clips.

You have to release two clips and open the brake light.

Becareful when removing the brake light.
you push the clips in and slide it upwards,
iirc theres two clips on the sides you push in

ibroke the bracket thats bonded to the screen on my old 406 ~its easy done, had to glue it back on
