d8/d9 estate interiors

daft question are the the d8/d9 estste interiors the same?. would the interior out of a 2001 d9 estate fit my 1997 d8 estate, if they are
then i may have found a leather interior in a breakers yard ,

Why is that a daft question? It'll go straight in, although you'll have to change door card brackets & switches and tinker with the wiring.

I can confirm that the seats are a straight swap. My old cloth seats went into another member's (Floodys) D8 estate with no issues. Door cards would be a bit of a headache though & seeing as the D8 Execs still only had grey cloth door cards anyway, you may as well save a few quid at the scrappy & just take the seats.

:cheesy: cheers chaps looks like ive found a leather interior then, not oo worried about the door cards as i was going to recover them , :cheesy:

andy i can confirm the door cards being re-trimmed is possible. i did it with black cloth fabric.

but will be re-doing them in the summer time with faux leather material. 8)

thats good gaz mind i wont be doing the recovering, my neighbours works in the trim dept at jaguar so hes going to do them for a drink:)

nice 1 because to be honest it isa pig of a job , well mine were, may have been the type of material i used.

it was a real headacke stretching the fabric around the handles. :shock:
