dashboard lights

Post by andrew1608 »

I have just replaced a few light on the dashboard behind the speedo & rev counter area bulbs cost 50p each and peugeot were wanting around £1.20 per bulb, however there is no way of knowing what each bulb does, there is a printed circuit boards but behind the rev counter area there are around 6 holes and only 5 bulb you take a bulb out and don't remember where to exactly to refit it becuase you then have 2 spaces left, i did this and found i put a bulb back into the wrong whole andthe light indicator did not show, but i have contacted peugeot and they hve no papers to show what each whole does, they do have an online system which can be accessed but you have a pay to use it. An the peugeot dealers computer in the parts department is useless. It would be good if there was a diagram to show what each bulb does other than light up as it makes it easier to know the location of which bulb needs to be replace.

It's a bit late to go tooling about on service box but you're welcome to try. Otherwise, you could try shining an LED torch through the holes and see what lights up.

I just held mine upto the light and worked out what was what. Then I realised I didnt have a clue what my model came with (ABS etc) so stuck blubs in all of them :cheesy:

Strange thing. I've got a traction control light which comes on for a few secs after ignition, but I don't have traction control! :)
