Clonking Noise from Steering

I left my off the road for a month. (406 S Hdi 90). I left it on a driveway with a bit of a slope. I chocked only the front wheels. Each with a large brick and left the handbrake off.
Now that I have started using the car again there is a “clonking” noise when I turn the car, or do a three-point turn etc. Could be the CV joints, not sure, that is usually more of a "clattering" kind of noise if I recall from other cars I have owned. Never changed the CV joints on this car.
Just wondering if I may have inadvertently caused some harm to the steering or suspension by having the front wheels only chocked and left on a slope?
Thanks for any advice / info / insight,
Cheers.
