Wheel bolts - different types?

I bought an unused steel 15” spare recently, as a couple of my winter wheels are fairly rusted and had occasion to use it this morning while investigating a slow puncture. Now I had noticed when I got the wheel that each bolt hole has a raised mount unlike my other steels. I assumed that this was to better accommodate alloy bolts but definitely not the case. Three turns is all that my current alloy bolts get on this wheel - steel bolts also - and the bolt washers don’t seat on the raised mount. So I think I need a set of four different bolts just for this one wheel (which will be fine as it is now the all year spare). Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Never seen that on any steel rim before. Can you not drift it out and see what sort of face lies behind it?

That is plan B! For the moment I have seen some bolts on eBay which might work.

My current thought is this wheel might have come from a first generation 406.

Those inserts would need a bolt with a tapered seat, not flat one like ebay one you show.

IIRC earlier 406's had different bolts for use with the steel spare wheel, but they were phased out in favour of bolts similar to the ones pictures earlier that used the flat integral washer on the alloy wheel, but locked up on the taper when used with a steel wheel. Looked wrong, but worked fine.

These bolts have fitted perfectly - sitting on the taper and the flat. Now clearly labelled in the boot that they are only for the spare wheel!
