After searching the country for a replacement low pressure steering pipe for several weeks, Peugeot fitted 2 types, I have finally got the correct part for my car in my possession.
Question is, how much fluid do I need? The system is completely empty, and Dexron II is correct type to use?

I've had to top it up once; I used Total Fluide At42 ATF, as mentioned in the user manual on page 25.

I'm not sure how many litres are needed to fill up completely, but I guess it wouldn't be more than 2. Haynes doesn't mention it...

Pleased to hear you got one Andy. I use ordinary dot 3 fluid in mine, don't know how much it holds though, I would think a litre would be plenty.
