A quick search later... yeah, there are loads of sites listing it as the antirollbar link. Horizontal link rod? That sounds better.

There is a ball joint one end of it but calling it "upper" rather implies there's a lower, and there aint.

And the lesson is: Always get the tester to show you the part 'cos a lot of the time he might be calling it the wrong name.
That's what confused me, I looked for a "lower" and "upper" joint. If anything I would define this joint as "lower" anyway as it's at the lower end of the bar!

I would have got the tester to show me if I could have booked in at my usual garage but they're fully booked to the middle of next month. The one I used is following the covid rulebook to the letter and I wasn't allowed anywhere near them!🤣

That sounds like a great idea, unless it's a part you can only see with the car up on a lift... :supafrisk:
You can, pop of the rear wheel & it's staring at you.
There nothing on my car I can't get to without a four poster lift
I'd love one, but then I'd love the workshop for it to go into too

Look up, I did say no 13 in the diagram that Steve posted up.
Yeah I noticed it was the same part.

Yeah, it's straight forward enough, but you will need to get proper rear wheel alignment done after.
Elliptical washers and bolts? Any idea of sizes, quantities etc?
Yeah, two bolts with built in washers, two washers & two nuts.
You can get em off fleabay.
