Vibration turning left at low speeds

Hi

Getting a vibration / slight judder when turning left at low speeds. Don't get this at higher speeds.

Could this be a tyre balance issue or maybe a wheel bearing?

Thanks

I wouldn't have thought it'd be a balance problem, you need to be going a fair speed for that to show up. Tyre out of round maybe? Same for wheel bearing, they load up when you turn towards them (or is it away? Not really my area of exp.. er.. lesser ignorance) so the sound increases but you need to be going a fair speed to hear it.

Is it just for a moment or does it happen the whole time you're turning? What do the treads look like?

Hi

Getting the vibration / slight judder turning left round corners at about 10-15mph, also feels like something rubbing occasionally.

Will get the tyres checked out, treads are OK.

Thanks

It turned out my Power Steering fluid level was just a bit below the min.

Bought a 100cc oil syringe (£6) sucked up what was left in the PS reservoir, filled up with new fluid, started car and moved wheel full lock to full lock several times. Sucked up that fluid and re-filled with Castrol Transmax Dexron III. No more vibration turning left hand corners at slow speed and steering feels better.

Why only turning left though? Maybe the pick up is on the right of the reservoir :? Glad you got it sorted anyway, doubly so as if left too long you'd probably have scrapped the pump
