ATE rear disc unequal pad wear

1 pad on the metal, the other 3 about 40% left.
Calipers move freely on slide pins.
What about the pad pins, could they hold the caliper on? Would a fitting kit fix it?

I think it's just sods law.
You normally think the caliper's seized but I don't think there's any mechanism to ensure both pads wear evenly.

(if anyone knows otherwise, please shout).

Yeah thanks,
Fitting kit only 7 1/2 quid so on it's way.
I had trouble with these calipers before, didn't engage on 1 side so disc rusted to hell. I don't really remember but I don't think I changed the pad pins.
2 chances.
