tyre squeeling ????

Hi ,any ideas ????
over the last month my n/s front tyre when cornering has started to squeel, just now and again even at low speeds, the history of the tyre is its my spare tyre I have never used in the 7 yrs I have had the car, I'am just using it till the other side wears down and I will replace both, Its a pirrelli p6000 10 yrs old !!!but looks ok ,but do think due to age causing problem?? been on car about 2 month without probs

Tyres do have a shelf life, and if it's been in your boot for 7 years then it could do with replacing.
I would be tempted to put the OSF in the boot as it has a bit of life in it, and replace both fronts, if you are able to afford it.
