Based on the now couple of 406 V6's I've had to raise back to stock ride height I'd say yes, you probably can get them. I also seem to recall that I saw some specifically for the HDi. But the lowering kits I've seen (budget ones, more likely than not - but with TÜV approval) do not take extra load well. 3 people on the rear seat = not very nice looking, and scrapes on anything and everything. V6 estate with empty boot scratches on the trailer hitch when going into underground parking garages.

The concern with 17" vs 16" is not about the diameter, but about the wider track (225mm vs 205mm) and the offset you can get. Rubbing may be a concern, but a friend of mine on 18" 225mm has not noticed anything. I think his is lowered 40mm.

Good luck.

I've lowered my 2.0hdi estate 40mm all round on Pi springs & I'm running coupe starfish rims with no problems
& I tow a caravan with the car fully loaded ie wife, two boys, four bikes ect ect.
From what I remember Pi are 40mm, H & R are 35 or 30mm, Weitec are 30/30mm or 50/30mm, Eibach are 30mm
& AP are 40/40mm or 60/40mm.
Hope this is of some help DDD.
