If I were to tackle it again I'd estimate a steady 1.5 to 2 hours from start to finish including getting the tools out and tidying up now I know what I'm doing. Add a couple more hours for back plate clean up and paint to allow curing time before reassembly.
A slim punch, a good pair of needle nose vice/mole grips and a cheap wood chisel that you're not bothered about destroying are a must. Other than that just the usual toolbox standards, jack and stands.
Like most under the car jobs it would be much easier and quicker on a lift but until I buy my eight car fully kitted garage I'm stuck with a cheap trolley jack, axle stands and a set of ramps.

They are a pig of a job to get that bolt out, most of the time it refuses to budge, hence the need to slide the new sensor over the pin.

Well done in getting the bolt out :cheesy:

I only took pics of the offending bolt and sensor at the time but I still need to faff with the handbrake assembly so I could cobble something together then if needed?
