406 and 307 steel wheels the same

As per title, are the 15" steels the same?

Massive difference in offset between 406s & 307s on the alloys (13mm). Can't see any reason why the steels would be any different.

Sorry, they won't fit without spacers as the wheels are set in further in the wheel arch, so the fronts hit the calipers. 206's are the same as 307's so only really 406, 306 and older pugs and shitroens will fit.

Thanks guys for your replies. I saw a set of 307 wheels and tyres on eBay and just wondered if they'd fit.

If the wheels are cheap enough, and you have a bit of spare cash for some spacers, then it can be a good way to get fresh wheels or tyres.

I have 307 wheels on my 406, with 20mm spacers from a Ford, and spigots to match. This means in theory I can put almost any Peugeot or 4 stud Ford wheels on my 406.. 8)
