rear seatbelt locked 1998 peugeot 1.9 td est

basically i put some new seat covers on my car and when i tryed pushing my seat back up the seat belt locked fast after half hour of trying my hardest to get the seat back into the up right position it finally went back and the seat was up the seat belt was so tight it tore my seat up. now i have a gash in the seat and i have had to cut the belt as it just wouldnt come un siezed so now my question is does anyone know how much its going to cost to get a new one and have fitted or would it be cheaper to buy a used one and try fitting it my self ? any help would be very appreciated thank you

ithink you might be Best Buying off ebay or looking for one out of a Breaker (scrap yard)

New ones wouid be silly money Main dealers just seem to pick a page number out of tha yellow pages

okay i have found one for £30.00 on ebay i thought as much are they straight forward to install or should i go to a garage and get mechanics to fit it for me thank you for your advice
