It's more often a tyre problem - try swapping all your wheels in turn with the spare.

2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)

2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Re: Possible wheel bearing????
I checked the wheels and couldnt find any play and the only noise i could hear when spinning the wheels was like the slight brushing from the discs i need neew tyres anyway so guess i will have to get them changed at the weekend see how i get on

Re: Possible wheel bearing????
right got the drivers side wheel bearing replaced today and the noise is disappeared but what I don’t get is if I steered right before it was done the noise would stay and if I steered left it would disappear which indicates the passenger side bearing BUT when the garage checked it the felt the spring and said definitely the drivers side sort of defies what you get told about wheel bearing wear so im confused however noise has gone which is good
