Hi i've been looking online last night at motaquip parts. What is the quality like and has anyone bought their discs and pads? They seem to be about half the price of what peugeot charge. I've just found out that they are part of PSA group (peugeot/citroen) which i wasn't aware of and a couple people in the trade have said that they make a lot of peugeots parts but they just end up in a motaquip box instead of a peugeot box. The parts are the same and have the same marks and stamps on them. anyone heard this before? I'm just curious to know a bit more......

Motoaquip used to be Chrysler and further back in history used to be Rootes Group (Hillman etc).
I believe Peugeot bought them out a long time ago.

Yes, they're a PSA company and their parts are excellent. I have CV boots in the garage, one pair are OE and the other is Motaquip. The boots and clips are identical, exactly the same parts. The Motaquip ones cost £1.99 each off of ebay, the OE ones are £18 each at the dealer. My local dealer has a sign up saying they supply "Genuine Peugeot Motaquip Parts". The various other items I have purchased have all been excellent, given the price and quality I generally don't use anything else if I can avoid it.
