drums to disc

hi does any body now if you can swap the rear disc set up from a 2.1 diesel to a 1.9 diesel and if so how hard is it 
I wouldn't have thought it would be particularly tricky to do but I doubt it would be worth the effort and expense once you've fitted new discs, pads and handbrake cables.
If the donor parts look reasonably new you could just swap them over but I can't imagine you'll find much if any improvment in breaking on the 1.9's drums as the majority of breaking force is done at the front.
Interesting project if you've got the space and tools for a DIY job but keep a note of the donor reg for ordering parts in the future.
