Front pads and discs

Can anyone confirm whether the front discs are the same or different for D8 and D9?
I've found some genuine discs on the bay peugeot part number 4246T6, will they fit my D8 calipers?

yes i think the d8 1.9 and 2.1 disks will also fit most hdi d9s. i once had a list for compatability but cant seem to find it..
as long as diamiter is same. i think the petrol versions are a different size disc.

Thanks Gary, can't view the bay at work as it's blocked by the server so I'll check it when I get home. If they're a fit they're selling genuine peugeot discs and pads for £36 delivered !
I need a new set of pads and at that price I might as well change the discs as well.

Steve,
Mines a 1996 1.9, does that mean it could have 260 discs on it?

It could do, as far as I know, but I wouldn't like to bet on it.

I only have one 1.9 vin (Dirt devil's) and that comes up 283mm.
In fact using just the engine as a filter (XUD9TE, I don't think I've seen any others on here) it brings up 283mm- The XUD9SD and 1.9D both bring up the 260mm disk but I've no idea if any of those were sold in GB

my 1.9td has 283mm discs. in fact both my 1.9s had 283mm discs...
gumby your 1.9td will most definately have 283mm dics. be very suprized if it has 260mm on

I think I'll take a punt on them then, if they don't fit I can always offer them on here for what I paid for them.

This part number 4246T6 comes up as rear disks
Bloody dream host, the site died just as I was trying to post not to buy them. Still, at 15 quid there's not much lost & you can still either use them (unless yours has rear drums) or punt them out & get your money back.

how much are they ?
i always get my discs and pads from euro car parts online. free delivery... can usually get front discs and pads set for £50
but only when the 25% off brake parts is rolling and usually its rolling all the time

im glad i checked now because for past 3 weeks my warning light is coming on for low pads. getting more constant now everytime i break light comes on
