Here goes,
ive been lookin at new droplinks, idealy something solid as in wont fall to bits in a few months,
these Adjustable drop links are popping up, not only over the net but over at car forums too,
there just asolid bar with an adjustable-centre section,
wouidnt that create problems surely it needs that Ball joint,

ive just grabbed some Qh droplinks,
£8 each not too bad, asuppose if they last 6mths its not abig loss,
strangely, ive just compared a citreon xsara hdi one against an old 406 one same thing!
but they charge a few quid more for 406 ones

they sound good lozz . i always wondered would a solid bar work but supose the ball joint is there for a reason.
i just use cheap ebay ones (as you know) and they last easy 6 months for me everytime..

These Qh ones dont look to bad,
nice chrome plate on them, some sort of rust protector,
for £8 theyre worth a try,
iwas going to grab some ebay ones but the car sounds like its falling to bits, over bumps so icarnt wait that long,
the ones that are on already dont look that old,

I think you'll find the QH links are ok Lozz, I replaced my rear links with them 12k miles ago and they're still going strong. Some mechanics I know hate QH with a passion others I know think they're just fine.

oooh, rose joints, I wondered what you were on about

I thought about them before but they don't have any boot round them, which I guess is ok for hooning round a track one weekend a month, but I don't think they'd last long on cruddy wet roads.
