Front pads

hello all,
when replacing front discs and pads on an R reg 406 do i have to push the caliper pistons in with a tool as i can`t move them by hand,

I've always found a g type clamp to be good for pushing the pistons back in.

Probably. But then who'd have thought one thread titled "front pads" and one titled "caliper piston" would be about the same thing?.

well i done it both sides on,
i made a pusher (same as a puller but it pushes) big bolt nut and a light bracket, sorted,

Tongue in cheek mate. We had a post about exactly the same thing last week entitled "caliper piston"
