Hi all
In four years of driving five cars I've never had to buy brakes.
I have a 406, 2.0 HDI 90, mk 2.
which ones do i need? any particular dimensions, any number of bolts, sizes, etc etc?
im looking at these pads:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/FRONT-Brembo-Br ... 80&sr=8-32
and these discs:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Front-Brembo-Br ... 914&sr=1-2
thanks

pricey those. i used Eicher disc and pads from euro car parts. free delivery also.
also right now they have 15% off all brake components .
total price for your car £56.44 for both front discs and 4 pads
thats a good price

actually there not to bad those brembos mate. i looked closer and seen the £45 was for both front discs and not just 1
so about £77 call it £80 with shipping. compaired to euro car parts being only £56 atm. its weather money is no object but i would go for the cheaper ones and save the cash for a service maybe.

I saw some Mintex pads on the bay few days ago, and they were about £15
Thing is, they look identical to the "Green Stuff" ones at £40 except they obviously ain't green
As a comparison, I just bought rears and all QH and cost me £54 from my local factors
