need severe help

calling all owners

for the last couple of days iv been going out to the car and the rear wheels have locked managed to get them free but on the way out i got two miles from home and i got a loud noise coming from the rear wheel it sounded like a blown tyre so i checked it and it was fine tryed driving off again and would you believe it that sound again

if you can help a new member out plz the things due for a m,o,t

Sounds like the handbrake shoes are stuck to the inner drums of the rear discs and have separated from the backing plates - this happened to 'Dogslife' on here last week.

how easy is it to fix and what do i have to do to fix it

The things that can be difficult are:

1. Removing the pins from the callipers if they're seized in. Needs a big hammer and punch if that's the case.
2. Removing the disc if the handbrake has worn a big lip inside
3. Fitting the stupid damn handbrake shoes with the stupid bloody springs...

Took me a couple of hours each side to do mine while sitting on the side of the road...
