the very same as what you had in originally but rev counter instead of clock, these are in my 1.9, these should work in yours
So a Jeager set of clocks with a rev counter? Want to sell? How much mileage on them?

You can fiddle with it till its right, but I'd say return it for refund or swap.

Shame, I used to have a spare cluster sitting around for ages untill I recently moved house.
I've stripped the cluster down and rebuilt it, maybe I should give it another try?

Really confused now. Not going to chase after a refund for the clocks if there is a problem, I'm not like that. Might try the clocks again now I've rebuilt them :)

Not sure if Jeager do a model with a rev counter.
Cant fit the rev counter to the model with the clock because they have different PCB's so no connections for the rev counter :(

I've edited by original reply with an explanation of how I sorted my clocks.

Thanks for the explination. Hmm not too sure at the moment. Might just try get my hands on another D8 and steal it's clocks and see what they read.

How do you take the front off the cluster? I know the rev limiter in second is about 43mph, so if I knock it on the limiter for a second or two then chuck the needle on, would that get work? :?

Wait... you had a clock and aircon? How does that figure spec-wise :? :?

Anyway, the slightly less-than poverty spec D8s like my LX had (from left to right) a fuel gauge, rev counter, speedo and water temp. So what you want (unless you expressly wanted the higher-spec panel) is a cluster from a deceased LX.

But yes, if they needles have come off at some point they'll never go back on quite the same. I had to remove my needles to turn my dash lights blue. To get them back on (more or less) correctly... well, I knew where the engine idled, for the rev counter, and I took a guess at where the fuel was. The water I knew would stabilise at 80, and the speedo... well, it was the satnav method as described above ^_^

Found the rev limiter in first was 21mpoh on the old clocks. Pulled the facia off the new clocks and removed the speedo dial. When I was on the limiter in first I pushed the needle on 21mph :) Jobs a goddun :)

Not got my temp gauge right though but I'll sort that anothert tyime
