Meet Pugster (My new addition)

Post by Sonia406 »

I am collecting Pugs on my drive

As you can see HE is absolutely filthy. Air vents are in a shocking state.

One thing for certain, I did not expect lift reverse

What is automatic about the mirror? (Great view of Miss Pug by the way)

I somehow turned on automatic lights  but haven't found the follow me home feature...
I've worked out how to get cruise control working too - but doesn't seem to be functioning

A few niggles - mainly the dpf is lighting up (but that could be because the exhaust is hanging off literally)

I added this of course...

The air vents and most of the car is absolute rank... Many a cotton buds will be used in making it clean
No idea where the light washer switch is - does it use the same feed for the windscreens washer?
Need some work doing... will go out when it's dark to test the auto dip mirror

Light washers get activated at the same time as the windscreen ones but only if lights are switched on.

You could do with refurbishing your knob....

Just about to go and do diagnostics - Laptop needed battery charging...

I have found out that doing a right hand corner with some speed behind me (with right hand indicator on) as soon as she straightens back up and the right hand indicator comes off, the left hand one goes on......

So far today, the DPF lights up on the dash, and the additive is ''running low''

As of the end of this Month Miss Pug will be SORN

Very nice 8) Yep could definitely do with replacing the shifter leather.

The indicator thing is the usual COM2000 problem, the guy on eBay doing the replacement service seems to be the best bet unless you'd like to shell out £lots for a new unit. Does the car have ESP?

DPF light and additive level warning will be fixed shortly of course

I think we know a song about that...

Oh good, so it won't harm the environment so much when you tip it down the drain :supafrisk:

my indicator stalk was doing the same and eventually it even started indicating left when i hit a pothole ,became very annoying i opted for a new com2000 but there not cheap cost me £140 yours could be more if it has esp, or there is a guy on ebay fixing them for around £30.
i went for a new one as i couldn't be without the car.

Hi Sonia, car looks okay really, nothing that a baby wipe or two won't clean up ( I'm sure you keep some near the back seat ) and the floppy indicators are normal but need fixing. Jasper is very happy with the eBay chap that did his for £30 - better than £415 for a new one....
If you have a small button by the diagnostic hole that says ESP, then you have ESP, kinda obvious I know.
Most other features of the car you will stumble across when you get to use it more...

Basically I copied you
Common COM2000 fault then I take it?

Plugging into PP was an eye opener
Many a faults flagged up, a few to do with the engine ECU, a lot to do with the additive and DPF

BUT

BUT

NO ABS FAULTS

I'm a happy girlie

Ready for ALL the faults?

I have most of those on mine too...
Ignore the pre-heat one as I think most Hdi's have that fault.....
The Navigation fault could be because you weren't moving.....?
Outside air temp is the same as mine but the temperature displayed is correct..??!!
All the other additive faults will be sorted with de-fap so that's cool.

Remember, just take one thing at a time and it will be okay.
