Very nice! Can you do me a wee favour? Can you open your drivers' door, and look at the sticker that is on the A pillar, down at the bottom, there should be a four-letter code that will look like "EGED" or "KMPD" - this will be your car's paint code. I want to make sure the Wiki for this site has a complete list of paint codes, and photos showing the paint.

Very nice. 8)

My fuel filler flap looked just like yours, when I bought mine a couple of years back, (now it's a lot worse).

Guy I bought mine from fitted a new flap, painted it correctly, but forgot to lacquer it.

thats a funny paint code. never seen that 1 before. just searched halfords and closest they have is MO3F :? :?

maybe you will have to get a tin made up by a proper car paint shop if its not available off the shelf.

also - do it off the car , do not do it on.

Interesting, I had Samarkan Blue down as being KRMC.

Could you pop your VIN into ServiceBox (or, if you don't have a ServiceBox account, you can PM me your VIN and I'll look up your car and see what SB says about it)? The paint code and colour that SB knows about will be shown in the "Characteristics" page.

ServiceBox will only list the first three letters of the paint code, with the final A, B, C, or D referring to "Opaque Unvarnished", "Varnished non-metallic", "Varnished metallic", or "Pearlescent Lacquered", respectively.

Mine says "BODY COLOUR : EKG - PAINT SCARLET RED", where EKG is the paint colour, and the missing "B" shown on my door sticker on the car tells me that the paint is varnished non-metallic paint.

sb says body color : paint samarkand blue no letters but on the label it got KMDC so that has to be it

any good car paint store should be able to give you a tin of paint matching your car.

my car paint code is same as yours. a few different paint codes for the same colour.
