Haha, you know your French cars Gaz. They are indeed, Saxo VTR alloys 8)

They were in sh*te condition when I got them. Got them powder blasted, refurbed and sprayed. Set off new Hankook Ventus tyres went on this morning 8)

What ins group is it, matey? Do they have an XUD version?

I had the 1.5 diesel, which was the only diesel available.
56hp for about 900kg. Slow, but exiting. Very good and predictable handling even with tires totally worn out.
You could do everything to that car. Last 130000km (up to 330000km) the bonnet was never opened, not even for oil changes.
Sill returned 70mpg (yes, 70), what an awesome car!

We changet it only because the rear shock absorbers were gone, and there was a very big incentive to buying new cars.

Haha, you seem shocked, cheers pal. It's a group 3, 1.1 60bhp Zest 2. Perky little engine, goes well with good fuel economy.

They did do a 1.5 XUD, however heres a link to 106owners where a guy is fitting a more interesting 1.9 D-turbo unit into one.
