Hardly used it yet. Full tank of fuel in the 406 that I'm trying to use up before it sells. I'm losing 2 seats & the big boot, but I've gained 75bhp, rear wheel drive & an auto box. Not sure what town economy will be like, but I averaged just under 40mpg on the way back from Ratsby (sorry Plod, but I had to get home to rescue my Nan from my kids & you were probably working anyway) & I was doing steady motorway speed all the way using the cruise control!

Not much point playing "Guess the Model" as you only have to put the reg number into an insurance quote to get the answer.

Not putting W4UEJ on it just yet as I want to wait a while & make sure we're going to manage with it. Thought somebody might have tried the reg number that shows on the car when they saw my number still showing as the 406 though...

Had a nostalgic look back at this to see how the old girl had chan ged over my two years of ownership, but was a bit disappointed to find that none of the pics were showing. I had a sort out of my Photobucket a while ago & sorted all the car pics into albums for each car & this was what caused the problem.

Had a bit of time earlier so I've now updated all the links from this & the "Replacement" thread:

Cracking pictures - you have taken a lot of time to make the car look good and it's such a shame she's been re-homed.
Well done you, you should be proud of your achievements with her. You did a very good job.

Thanks. It's probably the biggest transformation any car I ever owned went through. Previously the most that had been done was the ST24 kit on my old Mondeo Ghia X estate.
