The journey over.

Post by DiscoPol »

I was just cleaning out the phones memory and found these few pics from the overland we did to Poland a few weeks ago, thought I would stick em up for you guys to see and when i find my big camera i will post up the proper pics from the journey.

This one shows just how much stuff you can wedge in the back of a 406, also answered the question of what my 406 would look like lowered  when the wife and i got in too she was really sitting low

Image

and this one's of the MFD with some cracking numbers on it, when you consider how full the car was it really makes me glad I went for the HDI, now you don't hear that very often :P

Unbelievable

I have to say that was at Dover, by the time we had done France, Belgium, Holland and Germany it was down to a measly 57.7 mpg but all in all very happy with the consumption for a 1300 mile journey :D

Ive only managed about 52.3mpg back from Swindon when I first bought mine.

The misses, on our run from Bristol to Hull (M5, M42, A42, M1, M18, M62) the best we got was 52.4mpg, laden up.

I guess it all depends on the engine condintion, wind, temperature, traffic & driver!

Very impressive.
