i think if the new ecu and wires dont work .
i will give this leather interior up as a bad job and put the rapier seats back in ..
its really starting to annoy the living daylights out of me big time
not even thought of were to run this big ecu cable yet, sumhow i have to run it under seat to under center console.
why did i bother

waue i think your right mate. thats a bloody good idea
i have a switch unit with wires from a GTX with 2 plugs on the end . one orange and 1 yellow
the yellow has only 2 wires on it and that is simply pos and neg.
your a geneus why didnt i see that, i am gonna plug the GTX switch into the leater seat and connect the yellow plug to pos and neg.
no fuckin about with ECUs. and can get rid of the white plug under the seats
then i can find my fault very easy. cos it can only be the motor.

Nope, the wires going to the motors themselves. If it was the wires to the orange plug I would've thought it would all be working backwards.

the wires are spot welded to the motors.

it has to be the switch. the motors were fine yesterday with old switch.
apart from the fault caused by the ecu

i'm gonna buy a multimeter 2moro. and find out which 2 wires come live with the slide switch.
that should do the trick if i swop them round . like you said.
