Hello.

Currently got 195/65/15 on my car at min.

Fronts are getting low now. Rears will be soon too..

I do have some 195/50/15 in my garage.

Has anyone changed the profile of the standard set up or should i just buy 4x 195/65/15

Erm, no, don't use them!

The improtant thhing is to try and keep the overall diameter about the same (the recomendation is within 2.5%). The 50 profile tyres will be 9.15% smaller than the 65s, this means that your gearing will be all to cock, you'll be able to accelerate quicker but your top speed will be cut. Also the speedo would then be out by 9% (or should I say 9% more than it's out by anyway! ).
