roof bars....havin brought my 406 estate in oct 2008 i have had to buy roof bars to allow me to carry 10 ft pieces of wood for wk....i have attached them between the arrows as recomended but the wooden pikes still bounce upon touch at the front and stern ...the wood is tied solid to the bars and the bars are clamped solid to the carriers on the car roof..it appears the carriers on the roof are flexing....is this normal as my workmate has the same car and his are solid...............any ideas or do i need to take the rooflining out to tighten roof carriers!!...or do i move bars to the end of the carriers!!!help
