Discuss the 406's Bodywork stuff in here (what parts fit what, what can be interchanged with what etc etc).

Are the weather strips intact too, the ones that are clipped to the sill?

These are a remarkably rubbish design, and they are always getting ruined just getting in and out of the car. Donor car has almost brand new strips so if you want these too it may also help reduce wind noise.

I am in Bournemouth, I can post these out to you but they are long fragile strips, but I may be coming to Portsmouth in a couple of weeks to watch my step-mum abseil down the Spinnaker tower..... :cheesy:

right... 2 nights of hard rain and all is dry... i tightend up the bottom door hinge bolt and slack is now minimal.
it looks like several fibre washers in the hinges have worn away looking at my friends car.
ill just change the buthchered door seal now and hope it stays dry.
