How much do our doors weigh?

How much do our doors weigh?

Post by munkymanmatt »

Apologies for posting in the wrong forum but I need a quick reply and this is the most read forum!

Has anyone got a rough idea of how much one of our doors weigh in at. I am getting a replacement after a muppet in a van wrecked my driver's door. I've found a couple of doors in breakers but need to arrange delivery myself, so I need to know how much it will weigh roughly. It's going to have everything on, door card, window electrics, wing mirror etc. probably including the window itself.

Cheers lads

Try Paisley Freight, I use them a lot and they have fixed prices for car parts, wheels etc.

Its a good reliable service too. :cheesy:

Use the scrapyard as the collection address ( make sure they are happy to put a barcode on the parcel ) and pay for it at your end.

I moved it for ya. It doesn't actually matter much as most of us look at the "view new posts" anyway.

It's still 55lbs in old money and hurts like hell when you bounce it on your foot while taking it off

+1, have the window down before hanging the door - gives you a good handhold... :cheesy:
