What's under here and how do you remove it?

God only knows................ I just found what I wanted on the car........ so........ all Ok - I don't need to play with other things inside the car........... :lol:

I just traced it and the few wires lead to a massive big load of wires :lol:

Stupid question: are you supposed to flip the bench up like that before putting the seat backs down, so that they'll sit flat?
This is how it worked in my dad's Cavaliers, but they have a tag to pull the bench up by whereas the 406 doesn't.
I bet it's a pain to get the belt sockets back through the holes.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.
