It was a Peugeot 406 TD L Family on the log book.
Standard 7 seat model, yet no release on the inside of the boot? :?

But saying that, I had the feeling it had a replacement bootlid as my key didn't work in the lock.

That sounds plausible. Maybe the testers overlooked this because you had the rear set of seats stowed away when you had it tested so they didn't know to look :?

Well I got the 2nd advertised kit on ebay. Collecting next week. Its complete including the tailgate panel and think he said blind too. So will have fun fitting it!
Once done, Do i then Technically need to tell my insurance company its a seven seater?>

I wouldn't bother going out of your way with a phone call, but when you renew it'd be a good idea to put down that it's 7 seats. Mine was the proper factory job, but whenever I did Confused.com quotes I still had to change the drop down box to 7. Never actually checked to see if I was paying more because of it though.

I know a few don't but they've got limo tinted glass if you get what I'm saying.

Went to DVLA today to sort outpaperwork and I enquired about the conversion. They said that as long as I change the seat number on the V5 and send it off then no problem, the taxation class and the cost stay the same.

It was a Buy-it-Now £70, I think it has the tailgate blind too..!!
The parcel arrived at work but I can't get it until next week.
