Bending front doors

Post by rwb »

I get a lot of wind noise, especially above 50mph, which is due to there being a gap where the front doors meet the A-pillar and roof.

This isn't a good picture of it:

I'm after recommendations for somewhere to sort this out.

The last place I used was in Oldbury, near M5J2, but they seem to have gone.
I'm travelling up to West Yorkshire this week, so somewhere round Birmingham would be very convenient, so really a question for mids(mike|daz)

That's the red hole, and it seems to be normal. Fortunately, that particular strip of rubber does not form part of the seal.

I'm interested in the green hole (and up across the top of the door) today.

Maybe some previous minor accident damage? I wonder if you got some small-diameter tubing and stuffed a section under the rubber seal to push it closer to the door? bit of a bodge but it might stop the annoying wind noise.
