A clay bar for swirl marks???? :?

Clay bar takes off residue that's stuck to the paint

It wants machine polishing.

+1

after having spent 4 hours on mine today i can confirm the only real way of getting rid of the swirls is progressive machine polishing and determination, 4 hours by hand shifted nothing but scuffs from mine :frown:

still i managed to get a good coat of carnuba wax back onto mine so hopefully now the future washes should be a bit easier :|

You can get them out by hand with some polish, but the amount of effort required makes that a bit unrealistic. Machine polishers for cars seem very expensive, but lots of people have had great results with a random orbital sander fitted with a polishing head. Have a read on the detailing world forum or similar.
