someone with a d9 must know the panel with the radio / temp/info has two smaller panels on either side of it. the question is are they separate as in three panels or all one, i ask because i want to mount my sat-nav on the small left hand side one but would like to know how it comes to bits and if its all one piece, someone has definatly taken theres to bits so help me out guys

You can click them out, under each one there are 2 torx screws..

just replaced mine last week. basically they are blanking plates either side of the radio and behind them are as stated torx screws keeping radio in place. get a small screw driver and just pop it out. the hole is not very deep though probably 30mm at most

so could i take left hand side one off and keep it safe(as in lose it) to mount my sat-nav there , for it to be easily replaced at a later date with no-one any the wiser?????

anybody know how much they cost???
