i spent over £20 the other day on conventional bosch ones, and what an improvement no patches left at all, and there was always lines i assumed were scratches, well they are no longer there.

I use Bosch and Valeo flat blades exclusively now. Tried some cheaper/knock-off brands and they were awful (especially Tesco own brand!), but the real deal is well worth the money. Think I did around 30,000 miles on my first set of Valeo flats before they started to streak

I don't go in for fads as these "flat blades" seem to me anyway ( old age maybe)......ive stuck with Bosch......they last and are quiet in operation and keepthe screen clean, just what you want.

The Champions do last but judder and squeal on mine depending on the ambient temperature.
The bosch spoilers are the best but dont seem last very well IMO.

I use normal Bosch wipers. Had them on my 406 and got them on the Focus.

Took my car to an ARC carwash a few months ago after my car got egged (along with 3 other cars in my street) and went for the Wax. Well as the wax gets applied everywhere in liquid form it obviously waxed the windows which totally nackered my wipers. Smeard like hell!
Great on the side windows and now they bead, keep clean and stay dry on the motorway.
Had to machine polish the windscreen and give the wipers a good clean with vinegar. Back to their usual selves now :D

I have just bought a pair of the "Valeo Silencio X.TRM Flat Wiper Blades" for the C5 at the somewhat expensive price of 159.99 PLN (£34.70) and i have to say they are stunningly good, but then they are new and i was only wiping after a car wash,

i want some rain now to test the buggers but its forecast for 26-30 here from the weekend for the next 7 days at least, terrible isnt it?

I got a pair of those for the Coupe

Being subjected to a metric fuckton more rain than you get, I can honestly say they work very well indeed :cheesy:
