Electric folding mirrors

i cant exactly remember, but i think the BSi puts down a signal to the mirrors to fold the mirrors, the mirror sends a signal back to the BSi to say its folding then the BSi will tell the mirror to stop when it thinks its at zeropoint, and the mirror will imediatley respond by telling the BSi if its folded or not if its not it will apply voltage for the required time if not the mirror is folded

Doesn't sound too difficult to botch something together using a PIC, but would it be worth the time and effort? Probably not...

would probably be easier doing it using a few relay modules! Or VHDL.... *shudders at the thought of assembler*
