i think i've seen that car before. On cardomain?

its a strange combination of spec. You have the headlight washers, but its a basic model with black handles and mirrors. very clean though. 8) Did u fit xenons?

It looks tidy when it's clean :P
There are a few thing that bug me :P (I may sound psycho :P)

The body panels are a bit off
Nobody knows why my cars engine is slightly unstable (idle ~735-748 rpm)(It maybe hard to imagine but it sounds, looks and feels)
The atenna doesn't work 100% @ any angle
On city streets 16L/100km fuel consumption
(BTW: the exhaust readings were better than on a new car or anything :P the MOT guys made big eyes when they saw those readings)
headlights are weak @ night IMO
windscreen wipers dont work well @ high speeds :P

If any of these problems can be self mended, i'll do it :) (just tell me how :P)

My HDi's idle timing isnt perfect either, its not a big deal. My mates old mondeo idled constantly at 780 rpm on the laptop and mine went up and down about twenty or thirty revs.
406Break wrote:The atenna doesn't work 100% @ any angle
Is it connected at the radio end?
406Break wrote:On city streets 16L/100km fuel consumption
Haven't a clue. could be lots of things. I'm confused as to what spec 406 you have, it looks like a base model on the outside apart from the headlamp washers
406Break wrote:windscreen wipers dont work well @ high speeds :P
in what way? are they slow at high speed. The wiper motor might be on the way out

154g CO2 for a DW10 HDi 8)

Check to see if they're focused correctly and if they're not lowered by the switch. My headlights are top dog

Welcome to the site. Very clean and tidy car you've got there.

Could the spec confusion be that it's a base model with a sort of 'vision' pack which could include headlamp washers. Or maybe their compulsory in Estonia. I don't know, I'm no expert and I've got Monday off so I've had a few!!

1. You'd have to see it to believe it :D
2. I'll record the sound some day :P
3. That doesn't mean that it doesn't work at all :P it works 80% @ every angle. Any car or house will disturb the signal.
4. If helps, VIN: VF38ERFRExxxxxxxx - dunno' either :P
5. wipers leave a dirty spot just where i look out(drivers side :P)
6. Here they measure it in (% vol) or something...
CO @ 750 rpm - 0.005; CO @ 2270 rpm - 0.003
CO2 @ 750 rpm - 14.25; CO2 @ 2270 rpm - 14.3
HC @ 750 rpm - 3; HC @ 2270 rpm - 2
O2 @ 750 rpm - 0.16; O2 @ 2270 rpm - 0.09
7. Maybe I'm just whining cause I've driven a car with xenon :P

Lambda probe?
The atenna doesn't work 100% @ any angle
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6340&p=66771&hilit=base#p66771
On city streets 16L/100km fuel consumption
That's appalling! (=17.655058517mpg) Still, it is a petrol :|
headlights are weak @ night IMO
Are they getting the full 12 volts from the battery? Are they going cloudy??
windscreen wipers dont work well @ high speeds :P
Is that when they are working at high speed (as Eoin says, probably the motor) or do they have trouble when the car is going fast? (Weak springs at the bases of the wiper arms)
