Hello everyone,
I'm Olivier, I'm from France, I own a Peugeot 406 and I've registered on this forum because I'll be moving to the UK in January because of professionnal reasons. Since my car can still drive for a couple years and thousands of miles, I figured I'd keep it for the time being, and because of that, I'll need to know where I can get it fixed if needed, where I can order spare parts from... And that's why I'm here now!
I hope that you won't throw rocks at a frog intruder, and that I'll be able to help other forum users at some point.

Hello Olivier & welcome to the forum.
You are welcome to join our select group, which has become steadily smaller as the number of cars still on the road drops steadily. Used cars are much cheaper in the UK so people are less likely to spend money keeping older cars running.
The good news is there are still a few of us and much useful knowledge and experience to be had. Have a good look around the site and feel free to ask any questions you have.
Let us know a little more about your 406, French specifications can be very different to ours.

Hi and welcome to the forum
You shouldn't have to much trouble getting your car fixed - if necessary as they are quite basic compared with more modern cars. I have a Hdi estate which is on 211,000 miles and still going well, so they last. One of the best used cars on the market in my opinion.
