Hdi owner with 400k

Hi just joined and thought I'd say hi.
I own a 2000 406hdi 90 with just 400k miles
No doubt I'll be needing some help with it so thought this would be the best place.

Mine has done 235k and I didn't think that was bad, it still has the original clutch and DMF - I don' think yours has a DMF, they are brilliant cars though, hang on to it.

I took the car off my father whos retired now. Its been in the family for 12years and 11 of those years its been a taxi.

I only average around 350miles a week. Its actually shocking how smooth it still is. Was really struggling to hit boost before but after cleaning egr and some injector cleaner its running much better. Still averages almost 40mpg around town aswell.

Im thinking of getting it terracleaned? Anyone on here done it?

Expecially since that must have been a very slow job with the HDi 90

How's the driver's seat holding up? Mine got a bit saggy at 200k.

Thanks for the link fattail95, had a look at that before, just abit worried because of the mileage just incase it causes more harm than good.


rwb, my father is the most chilled out driver I know, and drivers seats fine, just ripped abit on the bolster. The paint has seen better days tho, theres no laquar left on whole car apart from the rear bumper lol
